Job summary

ProCare Therapy seeks an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a full-time maternity leave coverage in a Connecticut school district. The assignment spans Pre-K through 12th grade, with a potential extension beyond the initial 12 weeks.

Responsibilities include direct therapy, individualized plans, and collaboration with educators and families. On-site positions require reliable transportation and ability to travel district-wide.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut OT license or COTA certification (CT DPH License and passed NBCOT Exam required)
• School-based experience preferred
• Experience supporting students with disabilities
• Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to Pre-K–12th grade students
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate documentation meeting district and legal requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student growth
• Support students across multiple campuses as assigned
• Provide care under supervision of a licensed OT
