Job description

Step into a dynamic school-based role serving students from Pre-K through 12th grade as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. This full-time contract assignment will cover an FMLA maternity leave for approximately 12 weeks, with a strong likelihood of being extended, though the initial commitment is to the duration of the leave. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact across a diverse student population in a district-wide setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Connecticut OT license or COTA certification (CT DPH License and passed NBCOT Exam required)
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Well-versed in supporting students with a variety of disabilities
• Reliable personal transportation
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary education teams
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Fully comfortable committing to a temporary position with the possibility, but not guarantee, of extension

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, ranging from Pre-K to 12th grade
