Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a school-based Occupational Therapist in Connecticut to support students across district sites. The role is onsite and involves collaboration with educators, families, and a multidisciplinary team to enhance students’ functional skills and participation throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut Occupational Therapy (OT) license required.
• Previous experience as a school-based OT strongly preferred.
• Comfortable traveling to more than one school location within the district.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of educators, specialists, and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services across various school sites within the district.
• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students participation in academic and functional activities.
• Support IEP development and implementation, attending team meetings as needed.
• Educate and consult with staff and families regarding strategies for student success.
