Job summary

ProCare Therapy in Colorado is seeking a full-time school-based Occupational Therapist to cover a maternity leave from September through late November, serving elementary students across multiple locations. This contract role focuses on delivering high-quality OT services in a supportive educational setting.

You will assess needs, develop intervention plans, participate in IEPs, and collaborate with teachers, families, and staff, maintaining detailed documentation in line with district

Qualifications

• Licensed OT with Colorado credentials.
• Experience in school settings, especially with elementary-aged students.
• Understanding of IEPs and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Comfortable working with a varied caseload, including students with severe developmental needs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive OT services to elementary students, with occasional support for those with significant developmental challenges.
• Cover four days within the district and one day outside, ensuring continuity of care across locations.
• Assess student needs, develop intervention plans, and track progress collaboratively with teachers, families, and staff.
• Document all services in accordance with district standards and special education regulations.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to strategies that promote student development and participation in classroom activities.
