Job summary

New Story Schools is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to empower students by developing individualized speech and language support. You will collaborate with educators, families, and therapists to help students reach their communication goals, using data-driven updates and IEP-aligned plans.

We value experience in school or clinical settings with students who have special needs and require knowledge of IEP development.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
Active ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
Experience in school or clinical settings with students who have special needs is preferred.
Knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
Partner with multidisciplinary teams and families to deliver targeted speech-language therapy.
Monitor progress and adjust plans with clear documentation of student growth.
Create and evaluate IEP goals and provide data-driven updates for ongoing support.
Use behavior management and engagement strategies to create a positive learning environment.
