Job summary

New Story Schools is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to empower students aged 5–21 by improving communication skills and confidence. You will collaborate with educators, families, and therapists to deliver individualized speech-language support aligned with each student’s goals.

You’ll conduct assessments, develop tailored treatment plans, and participate in IEP development and progress monitoring to ensure meaningful growth and success for every learner.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Active ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) required.
• Experience in school or clinical setting with students who have special needs.
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
• Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams and families to deliver targeted speech-language therapy.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans, and document student growth clearly.
• Create and evaluate IEP goals and provide data-driven updates for ongoing support.
• Use behavior management and engagement strategies to create a positive learning environment.
