Job summary

Paving the Way Multi-Service Institute is seeking a School-Based Behavioral Health Clinician to serve as the primary behavioral health provider within an assigned school community. You will deliver individual, group, and school-wide services using a public health approach to promote student well-being and academic success.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field.
• Active or Pending DC LGSW or LGPC license.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and school-wide behavioral health services year round in the school.
• Facilitate workshops, classroom presentations, prevention activities, and wellness initiatives.
• Support students experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and family stressors.
• Build meaningful relationships with students, families, teachers, and school administrators.
• Coordinate care with families, school personnel, and community partners.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation, assessments, and treatment plans.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and consultation.
