The California Montessori Project (CMP) seeks a Behavior Technician to support students with behavioral needs across CMP campuses. You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and BCBAs to implement strategies, provide direct intervention, and reinforce positive behaviors in classroom settings.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma.
• Demonstrates 48 college educational units or ability to pass paraprofessional CBEST within 30 days of hire.
• Experience working with students with special needs in school and/or clinical settings.

Responsabilités

• Implement behavioral strategies under supervision of BCBA.
• Provide individual and small-group support in classrooms.
• Prepare instructional aids and exercises.
• Collaborate with certificated and classified staff on interventions.
• Collect data and monitor progress.
• Maintain files and report incidents to behavior analyst.
• Ensure student supervision and safety.
