Job summary

Onward Education is actively seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a school-based role in Litchfield County, CT. The BCBA will support students with behavioral, social-emotional, and developmental needs by applying ABA and data-driven interventions.

You will collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based strategies, monitor progress, and adjust plans for student success in inclusive learning environments.

Qualifications

• Active BCBA certification required.
• Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
• Experience conducting FBAs and developing BIPs.
• Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and evidence-based practices.
• Experience in school-based settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify functions of challenging behaviors.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to identify trends and factors impacting student success.
• Develop and implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Provide training and ongoing coaching to teachers, paraprofessionals, and school staff.
• Collaborate with school teams to ensure consistent intervention across settings.
• Participate in IEP meetings and support student goals with behavioral expertise.
