Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) of service.
• BLS certification required; telehealth privacy rules may apply.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance, quality initiatives, and evidence-based care.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with patient/family involvement.
• Monitors conditions, adjusts plans, mobilizes resources with the care team.
• Promotes safety culture and patient safety practices.
• Evaluates outcomes and takes action to improve care.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Communicates effectively, provides feedback, and delegates appropriately.
• Pursues ongoing professional development and maintains required certifications.
• Adheres to ethics and provides unbiased, interdisciplinary patient care.
• Delegates to RNs, LPNs, and unlicensed staff as appropriate.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units within the service area as needed.
• Provides age-appropriate care across the life span.
