Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans.
• Promotes a culture of safety.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units as needed.
• Provide age-appropriate care across patient populations.
• Appropriate delegation to RNs, LPNs, and unlicensed staff.
• Demonstrates effective communication and conflict resolution.
• Pursues ongoing professional development and maintains certifications.
