Advocate Health is seeking a registered nurse to provide high-quality patient care across units. You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, engaging patients and families throughout the continuum.

The role includes collaboration with the care team to optimize outcomes, a strong emphasis on safety, and accurate EHR documentation. The position requires clinical nursing experience and active RN licensure; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Two years of service-line RN experience preferred.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the applicable state(s)

Responsabilités

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to clinical protocols.
• Demonstrates effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution to foster collaboration and appropriate delegation.
• Pursue professional development and maintain required certifications.
• Adhere to ANA Ethics and ensure unbiased, integrated patient care; delegate appropriately to RNs, LPNs, and UAPs.
• May float to other units or facilities within the service area to meet patient care needs.
• Must understand age-specific nursing care and demonstrate growth and development competencies across the lifespan
