Job summary

CRF Behavioral Healthcare in San Diego seeks a Recruiting Specialist to support all recruiting activities and partnerships with schools and universities. You will source candidates, prescreen, and track outreach in UKG Ready, coordinating with hiring managers to fill openings.

Two years of high-volume recruiting experience is preferred; newcomer-friendly environment, strong communication, and ability to build networks.

Qualifications

• Two years of previous high‑volume recruiting required; nurse recruiting experience preferred
• Must be computer savvy, including internet searching, social media platforms, Teams, and resume databases
• Experience with applicant tracking systems; UKG ATS experience highly valued
• Superior written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to groups
• Team-centered collaboration and coordination as well as independent work; strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and collaborative environment
• CA Driver license in good standing, reliable transportation and proof of insurance; travel within San Diego County required
• Ability to pass criminal/background clearance

Responsibilities

• Support all recruiting processes including sourcing, pre-screening, referring, and tracking outreach in our ATS (UKG Ready)
• Update candidate statuses in the ATS and use metrics to address gaps; recommend strategies to improve hiring outcomes
• Attend job fairs and recruitment events, especially with schools and universities
• Actively source candidates from LinkedIn and other social media platforms
• Create, develop, and expand recruitment networks to ensure high quality applicants
• Maintain communication with qualified, non-hired candidates for future placements
• Provide excellent customer service to hiring managers, applicants, school representatives, and other recruiting resources
• Collaborate with Onboarding/Recruiting team to streamline and improve hiring processes
• Support the HR Recruiting and Onboarding function by assisting with candidate sourcing and prescreening interviews
