Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. is seeking a Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) to provide peer support and patient advocacy across emergency, outpatient, or inpatient settings. You will model recovery skills and assist patients in regaining control over their lives.

This full-time role emphasizes compassionate guidance and collaboration with treatment teams. Responsibilities include helping patients articulate recovery goals, addressing barriers, documenting progress, and driving attendance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Maintains Certified Recovery Specialist credential via the PA Certification Board.
• Self-identify as a current or former patient.
• Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to meet written communication requirements.
• Must be able to verify completion of state-approved training program and passing score on certification exam.
• Must possess a current valid driver’s license in good standing and be insurable; role may require driving for company purposes.
• Travel up to 50% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in articulating personal goals for recovery.
• Assist patients in identifying barriers to recovery goals.
• Assist patients in identifying personal strengths in daily living and recovery skills.
• Observe and reinforce progress toward recovery goals.
• Teach problem-solving and coping strategies to patients.
• Attend treatment team meetings and provide the patient perspective.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and professional boundaries.
• Fulfill documentation requirements accurately and timely.
