Job summary

Project HOME in Philadelphia is seeking a Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) who will draw on lived recovery experience to provide person-centered, strengths-based peer support to individuals receiving services. You will act as a mentor, advocate, and role model within a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed framework.

Responsibilities include helping participants set goals, identify resources, build external supports, facilitate recovery groups, and coordinate referrals.

Qualifications

• Must identify as having lived experience with a substance use disorder.
• Stable stage of recovery allowing for positive peer support.
• Current CRS Certification through PCB required.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Use lived experience to inspire hope and support recovery.
• Assist participants in developing goal plans and recovery objectives.
• Help participants identify strengths and participate in recovery planning.
• Encourage self-advocacy and informed decision-making.
