Job summary

American Addiction Centers in Worcester, MA seeks a Case Manager to deliver comprehensive patient care through individual, group, and family counseling. You will conduct initial and ongoing clinical assessments, coordinate services with the Treatment team, and advocate for patients with UR to ensure quality care.

The role requires at least a Bachelor's in Behavioral Sciences and 2 years in behavioral health; CADC preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a behavioral healthcare field preferred.
• Experience with substance abuse, addictions, mental health, and motivational interviewing.
• Knowledge of ASAM criteria.
• Proficient with Microsoft and Google tools.
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide substance abuse counseling in line with state laws and professional ethics.
• Maintain a full patient caseload and provide counseling.
• Coordinate services and treatment planning with the UR department.
• Deliver family counseling and participate in treatment team meetings.
• Ensure documentation meets licensure and accreditation standards.
