Job summary

The Case Manager at American Addiction Centers will deliver comprehensive patient care, including individual, group, and family counseling, within a multidisciplinary treatment team in a clinical setting.

You will conduct initial and ongoing assessments, coordinate services, document meticulously following HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, and advocate for patients while maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards to support recovery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience in behavioral healthcare preferred.
• Experience with substance abuse, addictions, mental health and motivational interviewing.
• Knowledge of electronic health records and documentation.
• Attention to ASAM criteria and state standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver counseling services per state laws and ethical guidelines.
• Maintain a full patient caseload with individual/group/family sessions.
• Coordinate services and treatment planning with the treatment team.
• Document timely and accurately per policy guidelines.
• Ensure HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 compliance in all activities.
• Collaborate with UR and other departments to optimize care.
• Assist in crisis intervention and maintain professional boundaries.
