Job summary

American Addiction Centers is seeking a Case Manager to deliver comprehensive patient care, including individual, group, and family counseling with initial and ongoing assessments and evidence-based practices.

You will participate in the Treatment team, coordinate services, and advocate for patients while maintaining HIPAA compliance and professional boundaries. The role supports both outpatient and inpatient populations in a dynamic care environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in behavioral healthcare preferred.
• Experience with substance use, addictions, and mental health.
• Knowledge of ASAM criteria and documentation standards.
• Ability to read, write, present information to groups and participate in meetings.

Responsibilities

• Provide substance abuse counseling services in accordance with state laws and professional guidelines.
• Maintain a full patient caseload and provide counseling.
• Perform assessments, treatment planning, and individual/group counseling.
• Initiate and provide family counseling services.
• Coordinate with Treatment team and UR department as needed.
• Ensure documentation meets licensing and accreditation standards.
