Job summary

Ampact is seeking Reading Tutors for Reading Corps in Wisconsin. You will tutor at a local school, deliver proven activities, and be coached throughout. Each school day involves 20-minute reading practice with paired students, then returning them to class for the next pairing.

You’ll monitor progress, conduct assessments, and enter scores in data software, while focusing on your own professional growth through training and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Dependable with good attendance history.
• Able to follow instructions and implement feedback.
• Proficient with basic computer skills (email, online navigation).
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Must be 18+ with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident.
• Ability to complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping children thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule.
