Job summary

RCG Health Network in Richmond, VA seeks a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver direct ABA therapy to children with autism and developmental delays in home, school, community, and center settings. You will implement treatment goals, monitor progress, and ensure safety and dignity in all interactions.

Ideal candidates hold an active RBT credential, are at least 18 years old, and can pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Active RBT credential or eligibility for reactivation per BACB registry.
• Successful completion of a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA therapy based on treatment plans and BCBA-directed plans.
• Implement individualized programs to develop communication, socialization, independence, and behavior reduction.
• Support family training sessions under supervision by modeling ABA strategies.
• Record accurate behavioral data, session notes, and billing documentation promptly.
• Follow safety-management and crisis-prevention procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary providers to ensure consistent treatment.
• Attend supervision with a BCBA for at least 5% of therapy hours and maintain supervision logs.
• Maintain valid driver’s license and assist with transportation as needed.
• Be available 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and at least one Saturday per month (8:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.).
