Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one to implement individualized behavior plans under a BCBA guidance, using evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

You will receive comprehensive training and must obtain an RBT certification within 45 days of onboarding, with CPR/First Aid and TB testing as required.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB test (within last year).
• Pass background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• RBT certification required within 45 days of onboarding.
• RBT certification from BACB.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to support client goals.
• Assist children in reducing interfering behaviors.
• Maintain safety and professionalism in all interactions.
