Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and support in a collaborative team environment, with opportunities to grow professionally in the behavioral analysis field.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain an Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors while promoting positive outcomes.
• Document progress and adapt plans as needed.
