Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. in the United States seeks a Project Manager II for the Customer Service Aftermarket Team.

You will independently manage multiple orders and complex projects from inception to delivery, while serving as the primary client contact and leading cross-functional teams across manufacturing, sales, and service. The role emphasizes strategic planning, risk management, and ensuring on-time, on-budget project success within energy and motor systems.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years total experience with project management in electrical or rotating equipment industries or capital projects.
• Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary customer liaison throughout order and project lifecycle for multiple projects.
• Lead handover with sales team, conduct kickoff meetings, maintain project plans.
• Establish milestones, deliverables, and acceptance criteria per contract.
• Manage project scope, change orders, and approvals.
• Provide technical leadership to field personnel.
• Apply PM methodologies to ensure quality delivery.
• Drive operational excellence across projects.
• Coordinate with manufacturing sites and cross-functional teams.
• Manage third‑party vendors and contractors when needed.
• Provide regular status updates to leadership, highlight risks and opportunities.
• Conduct site visits with customers and vendors as required.
• Oversee safety and compliance requirements.
