Job summary

VOALA is seeking a Project Coordinator to guide program goals, recruit and enroll students, and coordinate tutoring and college-prep activities on-site in Los Angeles. You will supervise staff, collect data for annual reporting, and monitor student progress to ensure academic improvement and enrollment targets are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory staff experience.
• Minimum 4 years of TRIO/academic support program experience.
• Ability to develop workshops and coordinate programs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, evaluate and recommend staff for hire.
• Collect and submit data for annual APR.
• Monitor and document participant progress and improvement plans.
• Visit target schools and maintain contact with personnel.
• Develop and implement summer enrichment and tutoring programs.
• Recruit participants and perform outreach to schools and community.
