Job summary

VOALA is seeking a Project Coordinator to lead program goals for high school students in the Downey area. You will supervise staff, coordinate with schools, and ensure enrollment targets are met while managing data and reporting requirements.

This role involves developing enrichment and tutoring programs, conducting parent workshops, and maintaining program records to support student achievement and post-secondary plans.

Qualifications

• Must pass a fingerprint clearance and background check.
• Experience collaborating with schools and community partners.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic program.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, evaluate and recommend staff for hire.
• Collect and submit data for annual reports and APR.
• Monitor and document participant academic progress and plan improvements.
• Visit target schools and maintain contact with personnel.
• Develop and implement summer enrichment and tutoring programs.
• Plan and conduct parent workshops and college/career tours.
• Ensure enrollment targets and documentation are completed on time.
• Maintain accurate program files and report weekly evaluations.
