Job summary

Center for Urban Community Services (CUCS) is seeking an Assistant Program Director to lead a dedicated team, ensure delivery of high-quality, client-centered services, and collaborate with the Program Director to strengthen program operations at the Brooklyn site.

The role emphasizes staff support, quality improvement, and strong communication with funders to achieve stability and positive outcomes for families and individuals served.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, public administration, public health, human services, psychology, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years applicable experience with related populations in human services organization.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory/management experience in HUMAN SERVICES, PUBLIC HEALTH, OR SOCIAL SERVICES.

Responsibilities

• Supervise designated clinical staff and oversee site’s special services programs (including on-site psychiatry).
• Maintain relations with funders and stakeholders and foster a client-centered, outcome-oriented program culture.
• Apply strong supervisory and administrative skills to ensure quality services and program operations.
