Job summary

Community Access is seeking an Assistant Program Director to support the Residential Crisis Support program in our New York facility. The role leads policy development, staff recruitment and supervision, scheduling, and ongoing quality improvement to deliver peer-led, recovery-focused services 24/7.

Qualifications include current NYS licensure (LMSW/LCSW/LMHC/LMFT or related) and at least two years of management experience in social services focusing on mental health.

Qualifications

• Must hold current NYS licensure (LMSW/LCSW/LMHC/LMFT or related licensure).
• Minimum of two years of management experience in social services or related setting, with people experiencing mental health concerns (preferred).
• Strong administrative and organizational skills; comfort with documenting and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support the Program Director in overall leadership, administration, and day-to-day operations of the Residential Crisis Support program.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures; recruit, schedule, train, supervise, and evaluate staff.
• Manage the facility, ensure quality assurance and reporting, and provide 24/7 on-call coverage as scheduled.
• Ensure admissions are timely, maintain documentation, and support recovery-oriented services.
