Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Manufacturing Platform Integration Facility in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will learn and grow alongside engineers while fabricating and testing hardware to meet demanding DoD requirements.

You will interpret drawings, assemble electrical and mechanical systems, and deploy production and prototype hardware with attention to quality and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED with at least 2 years of aerospace manufacturing experience.
• Experience reading schematic drawings and other manufacturing documentation.
• Experience building and installing electrical and/or mechanical assemblies.
• Familiar with basic hand tools, torque wrenches, and wire crimping tools.
• Ability to perform cable fabrication work.

Responsibilities

• Interpretation of drawings, using critical thinking, not only building and fabricating production hardware, but test and deploy as well.
• Building Electrical and/or mechanical systems for the DoD.
