Socket.dev seeks a driven Plaintiff Attorney to join our Midlands, SC practice. Independently manage a caseload of personal injury and workers' compensation matters from inception through resolution, with emphasis on client communication and strategic advocacy.

The ideal candidate has a JD, SC Bar admission, 3+ years of relevant experience, strong research and writing skills, and a collaborative approach. This role offers competitive compensation with commission and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school.
Admission to the South Carolina Bar.
3+ years of verifiable experience in Personal Injury and/or Workers' Compensation.
Strong research, writing and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Independently manage a caseload of personal injury plaintiff cases from inception through resolution.
Investigate claims, gather evidence, and develop strong legal strategies.
Draft and file legal documents.
Conduct depositions, negotiate settlements, and represent clients at hearings and trials.
Maintain exceptional communication with clients, keeping them informed throughout the process.
Collaborate with our team of case managers.
Stay abreast of changes in workers' compensation law and best practices.
