Aufgaben

• Interprets physician referrals and completes musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and/or integumentary evaluations.
• Establishes a plan of care and implements individual treatment based on evaluation results and functional goals.
• Monitors and evaluates outcomes and adjusts the treatment plan based on patient response.
• Identifies factors affecting patient comfort and attends to these needs.
• Plans for discharge including home programs, teaching, referrals, and equipment.
• Completes documentation for patient care, progress notes, and billing.
• Applies insurance guidelines regarding authorization and visits.
• Cleans up after treatment and keeps area neat.
• Performs manual techniques, positioning, transferring, and lifting with proper technique.
• Demonstrates modality and equipment use per orientation checklist.
• Understands indications/contraindications of modalities and exercise.
• Participates in performance improvement activities.
• Manages caseload and coordinates coverage needs.
• Pursues professional growth through continuing education and in-services.
• Orients new staff to policies as requested.
• Participates in co-worker evaluations as requested.
• Demonstrates knowledge to provide age-appropriate care.
