Job summary

The Fedcap Group seeks a Performance Manager for Fedcap Families in Maine to lead one or two Opportunity Centers, directing a team of six to 20 staff. You will drive performance with data-driven supervision, partner with local leaders, and ensure quality outcomes for TANF/ASPIRE participants.

Your role focuses on coaching, stakeholder collaboration, and applying empathetic leadership to improve employment outcomes and program growth in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Human Services, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 3 years’ experience in career services, case management, workforce development, or social services.
• At least 5 years’ experience supervising and leading teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills grounded in empathy.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and performance of one or two Opportunity Centers, leading a team of six to 20 staff.
• Conduct weekly data-informed supervisions and regular performance reviews.
• Collaborate with local leaders and program staff to develop solutions and lead initiatives for growth.
• Represent Fedcap at external partnership and networking events.
• Oversee quality assurance by auditing cases monthly for compliance.
• Serve as hiring manager for open positions and coach staff.
