Job summary

Fedcap Families is seeking a Performance Manager to lead one or two Opportunity Centers in Maine, supervising 6–20 staff and driving data-informed performance improvements. You will partner with program leadership to grow services, ensure quality, and represent Fedcap in community partnerships.

You will use ECM/CRM systems and MS Office tools to track outcomes, prepare reports, and maintain compliance while mentoring staff and advancing participants’ employment readiness and success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Human Services, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 3 years’ experience in career services, case management, workforce development, or social services—preferably serving low-income, TANF, or other public-benefit populations.
• At least 5 years’ experience supervising and leading teams to achieve performance outcomes.
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills grounded in empathy, cultural humility, and belief in people’s capacity.
• Proven strong customer service mindset, with ability to anticipate needs and sustain trust-based relationships.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to convey value and influence stakeholders.
• Strong data literacy, including dashboards, KPIs, and performance reports to guide decisions.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
• Technologically proficient with ECM/CRM platforms and MS Office Suite (Teams, SharePoint, Zoom).

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and performance of one or two Opportunity Centers, leading a team of six to 20 staff.
• Conduct weekly data-informed supervisions and regular performance reviews.
• Collaborate with local leaders and program staff to develop solutions and lead growth initiatives.
• Represent Fedcap at external partnership and networking events.
• Oversee quality assurance by auditing cases monthly for compliance.
• Serve as hiring manager for open positions and coach employees.
