Job summary

The Fedcap Group is seeking a Performance Manager for Fedcap Families in Maine to lead an Opportunity Center, supervise a team of six to twenty staff, and deliver individualized career services to TANF participants in partnership with the Maine Department of Health and Human Services.

You will drive data‑driven improvements, conduct weekly supervision and performance reviews, oversee quality assurance, hire and coach staff, and represent Fedcap at external events to build community partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social services or related field; master’s preferred.
• 3+ years in career services, case management, or workforce development.
• 5+ years leading teams to achieve performance outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship skills grounded in empathy.
• Data-driven with dashboards and KPI reporting.
• Experience with ECM/CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and a team of 6–20 staff at one or two centers.
• Conduct weekly data-informed supervisions and regular performance reviews.
• Collaborate with local leaders to drive program growth and improvements.
• Represent Fedcap at external partnership events and networking.
• Oversee quality assurance through monthly case audits.
• Hire and coach staff to support growth.
