Job summary

Adventist HealthCare Home Health Southern Maryland is seeking an Occupational Therapist to service our Southern Maryland territories. The OT will coordinate care with the care team, administer therapies, and document patient progress per agency policies.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, Maryland licensure, and BLS certification. Part-time schedule with 24 hours per week, typical days 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday/Wednesday/Friday, with one weekend per month.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Maryland OT licensure required to practice in the state.
• Active BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate plan of care with team members to ensure optimal patient experience.
• Administer occupational therapy interventions per agency policies.
• Implement therapy plans and measure patient progress toward goals.
• Complete documentation promptly and accurately.
• Support professional development and ongoing learning.
• Supervise OT treatments under physician orders and coordinate with other providers.
