Job summary

Community Home Health of Maryland, a member of the Medical Services of America, Inc. family, is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist for Home Health patients in Upper Marlboro, Hyattsville, Bowie, & Clinton (Prince George's County), MD.

You will provide skilled OT services, restore function through therapeutic activities, and coordinate the care plan with other health professionals. A valid MD OT license and driver’s license are required, with benefits including PTO and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Must hold an Occupational Therapist license in the state of Maryland.
• Minimum of one year of occupational therapy experience.
• Home Health experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license and company required auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled occupational therapy in accordance with the physician’s plan of care.
• Treats clients through therapeutic activities to restore function and self-care abilities.
• Demonstrates and teaches alternative techniques for activities of daily living, transfers, and positioning.
• Coordinates the plan of care with other health professionals assigned to the same clients.
• Develops and maintains individualized care records and submits documentation within 24 hours of visit.
