Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide home health visits in Anne Arundel County, MD. The role supports adult and geriatric patients across Northern Calvert County in a full-time, part-time, or per diem capacity.

The OT will join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to rehabilitative care that enables patients to remain at home. The candidate should have an active Maryland OT license and at least one year of OT experience, preferably in home health, with

Qualifications

• Must hold Maryland Occupational Therapist license.
• Minimum of one year of OT experience; home health preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform evaluations of patients’ functional status including ADLs/IADLs, cognition, and motor skills.
• Develop and adjust individualized intervention plans to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Evaluate home environments for hazards and barriers to independence.
• Educate patients and families in rehabilitative care and activities to promote health and independence.
• Document observations and interventions using an EMR system.
