Minnesota Oncology is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our oncology team, delivering professional nursing care per national and company standards while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

You will assess patients, educate families, provide psychosocial support, coordinate tests and referrals, mentor staff, and participate in ongoing oncology education; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• RN license in practicing state and active registration.
• Current BLS certification.
• Maintain ongoing continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide nursing care according to standards.
• Assess health status via patient interviews.
• Document assessments, interventions, and lab results.
• Educate patient/family and provide teaching.
• Provide psychosocial support and maintain confidentiality.
• Coordinate care with physicians, labs, and referrals.
• Mentor/guide junior staff and supervise coverage.
