Job summary

Minnesota Oncology is seeking an experienced nurse leader to supervise clinical research staff and ensure coordination with practice departments. You will coach staff, manage performance, and help develop accountability standards under USOR SOP and ICH GCP guidelines.

The role requires RN licensure, oncology experience, and familiarity with budget and accrual targets. This position offers a structured environment with opportunities for professional growth and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a clinical or scientific discipline is required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in oncology.
• Supervisory experience preferred; experience in clinical research preferred.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse if required by state.
• BCLS or ACLS certification for nurses.
• SoCRA or ARCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises clinical research staff in accordance with USOR SOP and ICH GCP guidelines and ensures administrative coordination with affected departments.
• Coaches and develops staff; participates in recruitment, interviews, hiring, performance assessment, salary changes, and discipline.
• Develops research accountability standards, metrics, and reports; collaborates with SRL and management to implement improvement plans.
• Works with SRL, physicians, and other research management on study selection and program development.
• Assists in budgeting, financial objectives, and accrual targets for research projects.
• May promote or market the research program to the practice, community, and referring physicians.
• May coordinate research activities with other bases or sponsors.
