YMCA of Southern Arizona is seeking an Early Childhood Education Director to lead high-quality early learning initiatives and support the Youth Development Executive Director in administrating centers and programs. The role emphasizes collaboration, safety, and strong community ties to shape values and lifelong learning for children.

The incumbent will drive program quality, supervise diverse staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and participate in budgeting and fundraising efforts within the Y's

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Early Education or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years related experience preferred.
• At least 6 months experience in a supervisory role.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certifications or willingness to obtain within 30 days.
• Ability to plan and implement age-appropriate programs.
• Experience with diverse populations and inclusion.
• ADA compliance knowledge and licensing familiarity.
• Completion of assigned online training on hire and periodically.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership and models excellent customer service to staff, members, and guests.
• Engage participants and introduce them to YMCA programs and services.
• Oversee safety, cleanliness, and organization in all program areas.
• Manage staff performance, supervision, and development.
• Develop and monitor program budgets and collect statistics.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with state childcare licensing and ADA.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop diverse staff and volunteers.
• Collaborate with community organizations and branch teams.
• Support annual fundraising campaigns and volunteer committees.
