Valley of the Sun YMCA in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Program Director of Early Learning to oversee and expand YMCA preschool programs. You will supervise activities, recruit diverse staff, and build community partnerships while ensuring programs meet local needs.

The role emphasizes budget management, program scheduling, and delivering high-quality early learning services within a faith-based nonprofit framework. A valid driver's license and a 21+ age requirement apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a drug screening.
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Clear or acceptable Motor Vehicle Record that meets YMCA standards.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure preschool programs meet community needs; supervise activities, establish new activities, and expand the program.
• Recruit and onboard diverse staff and volunteers; develop them for success.
• Develop relationships with community organizations and maintain clear communication within area of responsibility.
• Manage program budget, monitor statistics, and schedule facilities, classes, and events.
• Fill in as bus driver when needed.
