Job summary

YMCA of Central New Mexico is seeking an Early Childhood Director in Santa Fe to lead, organize and implement high-quality child care programs. You will supervise program teams, build community partnerships, and ensure compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities include staff training, safety and emergency procedures, and reporting to the COO on participation, revenue, and expenses. This role requires strong leadership and a track record in early childhood programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent.
• 1–2 years related experience in coordinating or supervising child care programs.
• Fulfillment of state-specific hiring standards and YMCA certifications within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Represent and articulate the YMCA Early Childhood vision to communities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with communities served by the Association.
• Supervise all Early Childhood program teams with leadership and support for staff.
