Job summary

Reedley College seeks an equity-minded, part-time faculty member to teach Native American/American Indian Studies courses, collaborate with cross-disciplinary faculty, and support the college’s mission to serve a diverse student body.

The instructor will work with the Cultural & Women's Studies Department, the RAIN learning community, campus and community partners, and student success teams to promote equitable learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Teach a part-time schedule of Native American/American Indian Studies courses.
• Coordinate with the Cultural & Women’s Studies Department and the RAIN learning community.
• Maintain currency in Native American/American Indian Studies and use varied instructional delivery formats.
• Evaluate student progress and provide timely grade reports.
• Engage with campus/community partners to support program development and pathways.
