Qualifications

• Required - Bachelor's in medical technology, medical laboratory science, clinical laboratory science, or chemical, physical or biological science. Copy of Transcript
• Required - Current CLS Generalist license or eligible trainee/license; obtain within 90 days of hire
• Required - ASCP/AMT/AAB generalist cert within 90 days (Academic Medical Center rules)

Responsibilities

• Performs routine/specialized lab tests with accuracy within set timeframes
• Performs quality control and instrument maintenance; documents actions
• Adheres to regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
• Participates in performance improvement and cost-reduction efforts
• Interacts professionally with patients and staff; maintains privacy
• Performs other duties as assigned
