Responsibilities

• Performs, develops and interprets routine and specialized laboratory testing within established time frames.
• Performs quality control and instrument maintenance/troubleshooting; documents corrective actions when results are out of control.
• Adheres to regulatory guidelines and accreditation standards; safety and proficiency testing protocols.
• Participates in performance improvement and cost-reduction initiatives; manages supply and reagent inventory.
• Adapts communication and approach for diverse patient populations and maintains patient privacy.
• Performs other duties as assigned and complies with all policies.

Education

Bachelor's in medical technology / medical laboratory science / clinical laboratory science / chemical/physical/biological science
