Job summary

Wellpath is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care within our Nursing department in the United States. The role requires working under RN supervision, administering medications, and supporting treatment plans for underserved patients.

You will collaborate with a team to assess patient needs, perform nursing tasks, and participate in mandatory trainings. This PRN position offers meaningful work, opportunities for growth, and a mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of employment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, assesses patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions in Health Care Unit and housing units.
• Implements treatment programs, administers medications including IV therapy (if certified), and performs diagnostic tests.
• Collaborates in controlled substance counts at shift start, following safety techniques and standard precautions.
• Assists in medical or minor surgical procedures and documents nursing encounters using SOAP charting.
• Attends mandatory staff meetings and training sessions to maintain high-quality patient care.
