Job summary

Dominium, a national leader in affordable housing, seeks a Leasing Consultant for Landings at Silver Lake Village in St. Anthony, MN.

The role blends customer service and sales, guiding prospective residents through tours, qualification, and the rental process while upholding Fair Housing guidelines. You'll present units, follow up with prospects, maintain property knowledge, and document interactions in Yardi PMS.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent education. Sales and / or other customer service experience preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing.
• Well-developed people skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Basic math skills for rent calculations and fees.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Reasoning ability and focus on sales goals.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends, including 7 days a week as needed.
• May require a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist prospective residents via phone, email, text, and in person; build rapport and provide property tours.
• Present available units, close leases per standards, and conduct timely follow-ups with prospects.
• Inspect and refresh homes for tours; ensure cleanliness and presentation.
• Maintain familiarity with property features, local schools, hospitals, banks, shopping, transport, and amenities; convey these to prospects.
• Adhere to Fair Housing; complete Guest Cards and enter data in Yardi PMS.
• Guide customers through application completion and collect required documents for affordability eligibility.
• Participate in off-site marketing activities to support occupancy goals.
• Support community events and resident retention efforts, and complete supervisor-assigned projects.
