Job summary

Qualifications

• LBS1 Endorsement required.
• Illinois Professional Educator License or as required by state.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Experience or coursework in subject area preferred.
• Foreign language ability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of content and learning standards.
• Foster a classroom climate conducive to learning.
• Differentiate instruction and monitor progress toward objectives.
• Plan and supervise assignments for assistants and volunteers.
• Maintain positive pupil-teacher-parent relationships.
• Meet professional responsibilities per Staff Handbook.
• Seek professional development for license renewal.
• Communicate effectively within the educational community.
• Maintain Professional Educator License as required by law.
• Collaborate with Pupil Services team on student support.
