Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking a caring LBS1 to join our school-based team in IL. You will develop and implement IEPs, adapt curricula, and provide targeted instruction to students with diverse needs.

You’ll collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families while maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes. This therapist-owned organization supports you with resources and built-in school holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education.
• Active state licensure or certification (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
• Previous experience working in schools or with children preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Work in a structured, school-based setting with built-in school holidays.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.

• Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and IEP team members.
