Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides research-based specialized instruction addressing IEP goals.
• Assesses student progress and adjusts instructional techniques.
• Employs diverse teaching methods to meet individual IEP objectives.
• Develops and implements annual IEPs detailing present performance and services.
• Participates on problem-solving and intervention teams to support learning needs.
• Schedules team meetings and collaborates with child study team members.
• Coordinates delivery of special education services per IEP and maintains positive learning environments.
• Implements standardized assessments and progress monitoring for ELA, Math, and behavior.
• Serves as primary contact for parents and conducts special education evaluations as needed.
• Provides supervision and evaluation of educational assistants and supports compliance with policies and reporting.
