Job summary

Delta-T Group seeks a passionate Special Education Teacher (LBS1) in Elgin, IL to support students with diverse learning needs. You will deliver engaging, differentiated instruction and collaborate with families and school teams to implement IEPs.

Ideal candidates hold a PEL with LBS1, a Bachelor's in Special Education, and experience in K-8 settings, with strong knowledge of SPED laws and IEP processes.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement required.
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field required.
• Experience teaching diverse learners in K-8 preferred.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, implementation and progress monitoring.
• Experience differentiating instruction and adapting curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Develop differentiated instruction tailored to students' needs.
• Implement, monitor, and update IEPs for growth.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families.
• Maintain accurate student progress reports and SPED documentation.
• Foster a positive, structured, inclusive learning environment.
